Crooked Dell Tech Support Guys..... They Are Evil I Tell You!
I always write "handle like eggs" on packages I ship. It usually works
I've brought in a package to the post office marked fragile and after the transaction was complete saw them throw it in a pile. I learnt to bubble wrap the crap out of anything I sent from then on. This fml isn't surprising. The way they treat things I wonder how they ever work up the nerve to send things themselves. F your life.
This is why the USPS is running out of money.
Actually, fun fact, the reason USPS is running out of money is because, as a "government institution," it's not allowed to compete with UPS or FedEx. It wasn't such a problem when USPS was pretty much the ONLY way to ship/send mail, but now that we have other choices, they're screwed.
I work for USPS. Most packages are sorted on conveyors and get dropped about five feet into sorting bins. If it couldn't survive that little toss, you packaged it wrong. That's the easiest thing that will happen to it.
That's what you get for buying a Dell, fool.
Lol Dell laptops are actually good, but nothing better than a mac! :)
Dell laptops are cheap, and worthless.. But everyone is entitled to their own opinion. :)
You mean how well it does everything a PC could do? If so then yeah, Macs are pretty good for that.
They're also pretty good at charging $1000 for a machine that is less capable than a $700 PC.
I wish I could build a laptop than buy a prefab. Better value and it dose not come with all this shitty software. Wtf why is there a best buy app on my $700 laptop and why don't I have a complete version of windows 7 on a cd.
Get a Mac. In the ten years of owning Macs, I only needed one to be repaired ever. I dropped it and the hinge connecting the screen to the computer broke. It was completely my fault, I went in and told them about it. They told me "The computer is four years old; we don't stock parts for it anymore so we'll have to send it off to a factory for repairs. The bill for this kind of repair is normally $200, but we'll do it for free this time." Apple is rated best in class for customer service for a reason.
What if OP doesn't have a lot of money? Macs are expensive.
I think acers are better I bought an acer 8 years ago and I'm still typing on it right now. I did however have a problem with the audio jack in the first year though
Yeah, I accidentally dropped my iPod Touch last summer, and the screen completely shattered. I didn't have a warranty or anything, and I had only had it for a little over a week. Apple gave me a new one for free. :D
I've used PCs all my life. Though I'm only 22, never once have I had to have one repaired by a professional (IE having it sent out). None of the computers in my household have had any hardware issues that required a trained professional and more money dropping, and at the current moment we have five (three desktops, two laptops) and they are all PCs. I haven't had problems with the programs or the hardware, and the only time I replaced hardware was when I wanted to upgrade it. (Something you can't do on your own with Mac.) Anecdotal evidence, isn't it great?
@29 It is a more costly investment, but it generally pays off by lasting longer (lasting an average of 5-6 years rather than 3-4), having cheaper OS upgrades (Mac OS X's biannual releases cost about 10% of what updates for Windows cost,) and Apple's tendency to repair out of warranty items free of charge.
Macs aren't all that great. I bought a MacBook in '09 and I had to replace the bottom 'cover' because it was coming off. Luckily it was free. Now my charger randomly doesn't charge sometimes other times it lights up green when it's not even charged halfway. Also my date switches to the year 2000 and the brightness is always adjusting itself. Meaning that it has to do with the Macbook's battery. Now I'm going to need to buy a new battery and charger.
133: open system preferences and then hit energy saver. Click on the battery tab then uncheck the dim display when using this power source. Also, uncheck the adjust display brightness as ambient light changes in the displays preference pane. as far as the time changing, don't let the battery stay dead for too long.
Yes but considering the fact that new everything for a laptop including taxes and environmental fees it would cost way over the $300 to buy a new one *a message from hungry collage guy
I agree with 73. A good laptop is usually more than $300. It isn't worth getting a new one because of a broken screen.
Your going to have dumb that down or start speaking Arabic because it didn't get that at all 84
Ahhh I see... Give me a breac though I have a hard time with language. First they made me learn Arabic then French then several other dialects of Arabic and then English sometimes I just speac dlurr of all of them at once.
I think we all know what you must do. You must find the flux capacitor and go exactly 88 mph to prevent this from ever happening. Good luck!
That comment has so much win
I just bought a Dell laptop and It is already restarting randomly. I suggest investing in a new laptop if you can.
Haha I got a Samsung and it works
