Today, feeling too lazy to cook dinner, I bought a bagged salad from a low-end store. I dumped the contents into a bowl; the first thing that fell out was a dead mouse. Bon appetit. FML

Call the health and hygiene inspectors, hopefully they'll reprimand and warn the store to clean up before something serious happens like actual poisoning.

Yeah, that's disgusting... Wild mice (and rats) can carry lots of different diseases. This is unsanitary, and besides, what if it had been at the bottom of the bag so OP didn't realize it immediately and, say, ate 1 or 2 salads before they noticed? Any sort of animal around food (especially dead!!!) is just a recipe for disaster. I've got pet rats and, while pet rats don't carry diseases and are as clean as cats, I still most definitely wouldn't allow them near my food. OP, don't just let this slide. You or someone else could've gotten very ill.

I would assume it came from the factory, not the store. The bagged salads are usually sealed.
