Today, I asked a boy I like to prom by writing all over his car. After nervously sitting by the phone all day, I decided to go out to get lunch. I found the word "No!" written all over my car. FML

Maybe because you wrote on his car? What did you write with? I hope it was in the dust or with something washable.

Well writing on his car is not such a good idea because then he has to wash it off and all...

Don't sweat it, #121. Prom is lame as hell anyways. There are way better things to do than prom.

it does not scream desperateness. but you shouldn't have written on his car. i like the post it idea that one of the other girls who commented did. that shit takes forever to come off, but post its you can just pull right off. its also not confusing romance with creepy and stupid. it depends on the personality of the other person. if this guy was someone you dont know all that well, you shouldnt have messed with his car. but if you knew him really well and you knew that it wouldnt bother him to mess with his car, then it would have been a different story. but those marker things take forever to get off and you really shouldnt do that to a guys car. post its was a better way to go. if a girl asked me to prom by putting post its all over my car i'd think it was funny and a cute idea but if a girl wrote all over my car, shit i'd be pissed too. probably why he said no.

Nobody has mentioned this: where was his car when you did this? How long did it take? Why did nobody see you? Did you sneak up his drive in the middle of the night and do it then??

@heysup, haha no. it was creepy and stupid. @OP you need to stop sniffing the crazy.

it's probably because you wrote on his car. I'd be ******' livid...I don't care if it was washable or not! Leaving a note on his window? Cute. Writing on his car? Bad idea. YDI.

That's...kind of creepy. Whatever happened to the good, old-fashioned, "Hey! Wanna go to prom with me?" You know--verbally, not all over his windshield.

Ouch. I asked a guy to prom by putting post its on his car, but I didn't do it in the middle of the day for everyone to see. I also didnt leave. I went to his job on a day that I knew he was working till closing and waited 5 minutes before he got out to start putting post its up, that way I wasn't putting post its on his car while there were people still in the parking lot. I was also best friends with the guy and knew him well enough to know that putting the post its on his car was something he'd find cute and funny and I knew he was going to say yes. You went about it all wrong.

You don't mess with a male's car. Seriously, you are lucky that was all he did.

i call you writing on his car, VANDALISM. DUMBASS YOU DESERVED IT
