I still stand by my personal opinion that regarding her feelings and their meaningful relationship he should keep it to himself and move on. I'm sure she has her secrets and doesn't need to be hurt with yours. If you care about her, just don't do anything to hurt her again, and prove that you deserve her.

I don't get how lieing to yourself and to your fiancé allows for the kind of future you can smile over. Wouldn't knowing its fake bother you at all? If you are unable to deal with pain then you are not capable of a real relationship. Otherwise you are just another fair weather fan

At least you seem repentant, so you have to try and see if you can work through it after telling her; your dad however is always going to be bitter since he can't grasp the notion that being a cheating dick is a reason a person might leave you, rather than whatever he's made up in his mind to blame someone else for his problems.
