Today, I cleared out the messages in my voicemail. Of the 50+ messages, most were from my mother wanting to know when I'd be home. I'm 27. FML

Doesn't seem that bad to me (this is under the assumption that it's on 50 different days). My mum likes to know when I'll be home (I'm 21) so she knows if she has to provide dinner for me or if someone has to pick me up from the station - stuff like that.

Sorry but maybe you should spend more time with your daughter and less time "out"

Wtf. Where did you get daughter from? I swear to god...you ICP people. Thumbs way the **** down.

Yeah that made no sense what so ever. But don't hate on juggalos. Most are assholes but some are pretty cool

Wow, you're gorgeous!....just had to say it

Geez, what is it with the clingy moms? The OP's post is unclear as to whether or not he/she lives with the mother but what is crystal clear is that the OP is an adult. If the OP still lives with the mother in her home then the OP is stuck living by the mom's rules to a large extent. This means things like telling her when he/she will be home so Mom can serve dinner accordingly. If this is the case, move out already. If money is the problem, find a roommate. If the OP does not live with the mother, then this is another case of the 'Saran wrap mother' who we have previously met in another FML following a child to work and staring through the window. If the OP does not live with the mother and the mother calls constantly to find out when this person is planning to go home, then this is another mother with too much time on her hands who frets about the whereabouts of her adult child instead of living her own life. So if this is the case, this woman needs to find something new to occupy her mind and time. She needs to get a job or volunteer. My best friend's mother-in-law was EXACTLY like this until her son cleverly got her to sign up as a volunteer at the local hospital, where she met other ladies with similar interests. Now she is busy at the hospital, where I am sure they appreciate having extra help they don't have to pay for, and has an active social life with her new circle of friends. She went from being the world's biggest butt-insky to hardly being around.

To paraphrase your comment: OP, find your mom some old people to hang out with.

34 I couldn't even thumb you up/Down. Your comment was too big for my ap.

It's quite amazing when one can predict who the commenter is just by reading the comment.

Dear Mr., Mrs. Miss or Ms. DocBastard; Please accept my most abject apology. I never intended to say anything hurtful or upsetting to you in any way. Regards, Bankrupt

I think it's more pathetic that u took the time to post all of this comment then the op itself.

Shut up 63, 60 is right. This is a comment section, 34 treated it like a blog.
