Today, I confronted my husband over the fact that despite me working two jobs to support us for the last three years, we're nowhere near our goal of buying a house. He actually had the brass balls to defend pissing my money down the drain on his ceramic cat collection. FML

I make 75% of the income in my home...HOWEVER, we BOTH get an equal say. We have to agree 100% on ANY purchase made. If one doesn't think it's necessary, neither buys it.

You seem to be unclear on the concept. What good is a house, if you don't have a large ceramic cat collection to fill every shelf, table top, and window ledge with? Sounds like he is a spender. You need to put your money in an account only you control. Give him a ceramic cat allowance.
