Today, I decided to go through my husband's phone to make sure I invited everyone to the surprise party I was planning for him. There were a few I had missed so I called to let them know about it. The last number I called was his girlfriend. FML

Well maybe now his surprise party can turn into his surprise divorce

that sucks...maybe you could cancel the party, give him nothing but a card telling him to celebrate with the other bitch.

Does it really count as invasion of privacy if she was A) doing it for a good reason and B) not trying to screw around in his "personal" life, but do him a favor. I mean, it's not like she was snooping, trying to find out if he had a girlfriend.

Yes, it does count as an invasion of privacy. It just seems so unusual a method of setting up a surprise party that I am not sure she didn't 'plan' the party just as an excuse to go through his phone. Half my address book are business contacts. I would assume many of my spouses are too. Definitely would not go through the phone calling everyone. The method is VERY suspicious.

When I threw my boyfriend his surprise party, I got #s from his phone, but only because he'd let me use his phone/find numbers in it before. Also, I only invited people I knew. If I didn't recognize a name, I didn't call them. That's just weird.

his birthday present wouldnt happen to be a divorce would it???

well, lets just say u got a bigger surprise

I hope you invited his girlfriend. Hell, send me a private email inviting me! I would love to watch the fireworks when his girlfriend shows up. Hilarious pandemonium for all.

no, don't stop there, have an orgy birthday.

lol, wow, what a dick head. btw, anyone interested in travel, go to this blog! http://gefangene.webs.com/

#27 not so perfect. but if OP is HE and her husband is SHE,that's perfect!

Can you please quit using every comments thread as your personal advertising space?

i'm really really sorry to hear that... i'm pretty sure you'll think of something... if you want to save your marriage or if you want to get even.. whatever type of person you are.. you'll do the right thing...

im not entirely sure how anyone can talk here to defend his 'privacy'. If there was anything in my partners private life that offended me, then odds are it shouldnt be happening. And to the point where OP finds out her husband is ******* another woman on the side, while she was trying to do something nice to suprise him, is just plain disgusting. Nobody, male or female, should be portrayed in the right when it comes to cheating on their wives/husbands.
