That is a myth. It was created as part of an experiment to test human gullibility. I don't remember the specifics eight now but it involved e-mailing a list of fallacious facts made up for the purpose of seeing if people would believe it. Studys show that 99% of readers will believe what I just said without confirming if it's true. I'm not lying though, just to be clear.
