Age is irrelevant. I'm 22 and I'm still drowning in soft toys. I don't intend on getting rid - only passing them on if I hopefully have children myself. Keep doing you! :)
I totally thought the same and then I changed my mind to keep stuff around the house that would occupy space and specially toys that they can play with after 4 or 5 years. So I just kept board games
