Today, I found out I was pregnant. When I told my boyfriend that I couldn't believe this happened he said, "I'm not going to lie, I didn't always pull out fast." FML

YDI for not using proper contraception!! No sympathy!!

pulling out doesn't work. I guess sex-ed in Utah still doesn't work either.

Congratulations on your pregnancy! It's good to know that we've got future fml submissions coming our way :-)

Damn I wish people would be nicer.... I would be devistated if I was pregnant and with people telling you what to do wouldn't help me at all. I think you probibly learned from your mistakes. If I where you I would buy the 'Plan B' or the 'Morning After Pill' and if unfortunatly this fails I would break down and tell my mother about it and ask for an abortion ASAP. Though you may want to keep the baby which would be fine to, just remember to do whats best for it and make sure your boyfriend is around to help you with it if you are not planning to put it up for adoption. I have been planning on how I am going to not get pregnant for a while now since I really do want to have sex. After a few months of thinking and planning I think I will be using condoms and spermicid. Maybe you could try something like that to?

I'm guessing that since she already noticed it its probably too late for Plan B.

If she wanted people to be nice, she shouldn't have posted here. And it's WAY too late for Morning After Pill. It's for the morning after you have sex, not the morning after you find out your pregnant, because it prevents pregnancy, not termination.

Some forms of the morning after pill are effective (to a lesser degree) within 72 hours of unprotected sex. However, if the OP already knows she's pregnant, that horse has well and truly bolted!

small bit of thing to add: the ovulation being 14 days before depends on the length of time between the start of one period and the start of the next. DO NOT count on this being exact. Most women have a 28 day cycle, which i had for a long time, but for some reaons unknown to me my periods started coming every 23 days now instead. Anyways, its aproximaely halfway between periods

YDI for leaving the responsibility to the guy - when TWO people have sex, it's THEIR responsibility. YDI 2nd, for using the pull-out method, really, just about the worst form of 'safe' sex..

Idiots, idiots, idiots! NEVER have sex without a condom or the pill! **** that "but it feels better" shit. Get smart, or you're going to get pregnant. YDI.

*gasp* I should NEVER have sex without a condom? What if I WANT a baby? Okay maybe I'm just being stupid but it pisses me off when people put things like "never" in ALL CAPS as if its obvious, and then give an example that only sometimes is relevent.

Umm I wouldn't say NEVER have sex without birth control, unless you NEVER want kids. Its been shown that you can get pregnant after you stop using the birth control, but it wore down your uterus so much that your body will just abort the baby without you even knowing.

WHOAWHOAWHOA...pulling out ISN'T effective? Excuse me while I go buy a pregnancy test and call up my gyno... C'mon now, kids. Instead of giggling when they say PENIS and ****** in Sex Ed, how's about we listen every once in awhile? They stress how ineffective the "pulling out" method is.

Even if it did contain sperm, it's a huge chance the sperm won't make the trip. This being said, there's alot of risk of stay too long, being foolish, etc. all.

What did you expect without using protection? YDI, end story.

You're acting like the baby is a punishment. No baby is a punishment, but you did this on your own. You made a dumb mistake, but don't kill it. put it up for adoption if you can't care for it.

Sorry to #81 and #71 I am not that informed about the Plan B pill

It's quite alright. I didn't mean to sound quite so harsh as I did. And hey, now you know. :)
