Okay, that's crap. I have a friend that has a muscle disorder that messes with everything, and she's in the hospital almost constantly. There's a LOT of medical issues that can cause frequent hospitalization. Not to mention that there are some so rare they don't even have names (Like my friends condition) Also, I get hospitalized quite often and I don't even have a medical condition. Shit happens, so shut the hell up.

I have chronic migraines, which most people don't think of as a disease, and I have to go to the hospital quite often for days-long medication drips via IV. Plenty of illnesses require frequent hospitalization.

SOMAgirl - sorry to hear about your condition. However, it is also possible that he may just be a little frustrated. Most people are not saints and may fray a little with the pressure. It will depend on how involved he is with her care. I was a partner to someone who was doing home kidney dialysis for some time. I had to set up the machine that cycled her blood, make sure to put in the right amount of medicine at the right time and connect the machine to her artery/veins. I hate putting needles in people and after a while I told her she would have to stick herself because I didn't want to do that any more. I still did the other stuff but she had to do the self immolation stuff. I felt bad afterwards but.... Anyway, all I'm saying is that just because he gets frustrated doesn't mean all is lost. We're only hearing one side of the story.
