Today, I found out that my dad has been having an affair. With my formerly favorite teacher. The best part? Yesterday, she announced to the class that she was pregnant. I clapped and congratulated her. FML

Today, I came home to find my dad crying. Turns out my parents are getting divorced because my mom had an affair. With a teacher at my school. A female teacher. And the school isn't going to fire her because she's a good teacher. Every day at school I'm going to have to see her. FML

Today, I discovered that my father is getting married. Overjoyed and confused because I didn't know he was dating, I called him up to congratulate him, and ask who she was. Apparently, his soon to be fiancée is my mother-in-law. My wife is not happy. FML

If your dad wasn't happy with your mother I doubt it was your teachers fault. If it wasn't her he was dipping it in, it'd be someone else. Yeah it sucks that it happened to be your teacher, but at least it was with someone you like. Suck it up. It's not like your dad cheated on YOU. That'd be a whole different kind of FML.

There are many teacher's kids who have one of their parents as a teacher - though some teachers will refuse to teach their kids. Now you're one of them, get over it. For a single teacher to date a single father is not a problem - the boundary is when teachers date students. This is a FML if OP was in love with the teacher . . .

To Mendel READ THE FREAKIN THING CAREFULLY IT SAID HER FATHER HAD AN AFFAIR MEANING HE'S MARRIED NOT SINGLE. Gosh i hate people who dont read thoroughly.
