Today, I got a call from my son's second grade teacher. He happens to write and throw with both hands, and wanted to share this during show and tell. Apparently, he didn't know the word for this is ambidextrous, because his teacher told me, "Your son just told the whole class that he's bisexual!" FML

Ha, I'm sure they have no idea what that means. But hey, there isn't really anything wrong with being bisexual.

Haha, I am too, but I told everyone I was an air conditioner instead of ambidextrous when I was young

LMAO the poor will never hear the end of it. But how is this an FML for you?

Hahaha! Poor kid, he just didn't know what the right word was, and he sure as heck didn't know what bisexual really meant. He had the right idea though, smart of him to figure that out.

I don't think he got his words mixed up...

Be honest OP. You would have rolled on the floor laughing when you got the call.

that is freaking awesome!!!!!!!!!!

poor little kid! where did he even learn that word? haha

All the reactions to this are disgusting. 1. The fact that the teacher called home like he was swearing in class. Referances to sexual orientation aren't "bad" words. 2. "How did he hear the word?" Kids know mommies and daddies love each other. What the hell is the difference? Funny, yes. Innapropriate, not so much.

Thank you! My first thought was "why the hell is the teacher calling home about this?" Would they do that if the kid announced that he was straight? Or that he likes girls? But his classmates won't forget about that anytime soon. He'll be hearing about this for years to come.

Well, she probably just wanted to make sure the parents got the kid using the right word.

Well the teacher probably knew that he was misusing it because he probably showed the class how was ambidextrous. So she called to let his mom know that he was misusing the word. But if he was ligit coming out I agree. The teacher would not have to call the parents. It's like a kid saying "I'm straight" or "I have a girlfriend".
