There are a million ways to get out of jury duty if push comes to shove just say you're racist...Even better if it's your own race so you got a little crazy going for you too haha

Speak with the Clerk of the Court, I'm sure they will understand. If they say no ask what the fine is for no show.

You people are complicating this way to much. Go to the wedding, then call in afterwards and say you were out of town planning and having a wedding. It's not like there's a camera in the envelope that they use to see exactly when you opened the summons. Hell, I check my mail once a week and have missed a summons or two.

When you got your jury summons, there should have been a part attached for reasons you can't start that day. I got summoned the week I was starting a new job as a caretaker for a family that had run out of options. I called the courthouse and explained why I couldn't, they sent me paperwork to fill out, and I sent it back. They contacted me about a week later telling me I was excused. If I can get out of it for a job, you can surely get out of it for a wedding. They'll just reschedule your jury duty. Good luck, and congratulations!
