Today, I was fired for not attending a mandatory meeting. I confronted my boss and told her I never heard anything about it, she told me that daily reminders had been sent out via email for weeks. She then discovered that she failed to enter my email address in the system. I was still fired. FML

In case you didn't figure this out, here's one for those lacking brain cells. What's illegal, you say? Why that would be being fired by any means other than face to face. Manager is a dumbass, and so are you if you don't use how he/she tried to fire you as a means to get your job. Then, you would completely deserve it. Same goes for being fired by phone.
