yikes! You should go back and tell her that happened, or someone else will have it happen. You do NOT use a 40 volume bleach on the scalp.. EVER! (that's probably what she used to burn you that badly)
here's the thing. being a hairdresser bleach burns happens. its not cuz the foils were to hot or cuz the bleach was to strong. your scalp could be super sensitive BUT when you told her it was burning she should have taken it off immediately. i would go back and complain and try to get your money back. and next time you get your hair done tell them you have a sensitive scalp there are things they can do to make it not burn. bitch should have known that. she's obviously a shitty hairdresser. bleach CAN burn you but not being in foils unless she put it to close to the scalp which is possible.
she may not have used 40 volume. you normally don't with any lightener. the foils don't burn you. she most likely put the bleach to close to your scalp. i would go there and complain. being a hairdresser myself i can say bleach burns happen. i do it to myself when i do clients. but when you told her it was burning she should have taken it off asap. next time you get your hair done tell them you have a sensitive scalp. there are things they can put in the bleach just to make sure it doesn't burn you. and DO NOT put hair grease on burn. take hair of it like you would any burn. grease will only make it worse.
Honey if you weren't warned, you need to sue.
Ouch...My advice try somewhere new, and why does everyone jump to suing?
sue. My Mom was a hairstylist and the people she worked for used to do that stuff and get away with it but you can sue.
sue the place.....& why were they hot???

OMG! You shouild sue the company!!!!!1
Were the foils actually hot or was it the chemicals they were using that burnt your scalp? This happened to me once when I got my hair straightened. They left the treatment on for too long and I ended up with a very sore scalp and red burn marks on the top of my forehead. Needless to say I didn't go back there again.
