Oh, God. Take a picture of your scalp for evidence, & sue. DX
if it was a reaction then you can't really sue, but if it was a chemical burn thats pretty serious, get a refund, theaten to sue, i would just for the principal of the thing, because you were not likley to be the only one she did that to and even if you threaten you can get her to pay attention!
So here's what you need to do: First of all go to a doctor and have them confirm the chemical burns IN WRITING and take pictures, as many as you need the more the better. Call the salon and talk to their manager, let them know you're going to report it. Finally, call up your state's board of cosmetology and complain. People like that make a bad name for cosmetologists.
omgg sue their ass!
Please make sure you give it a month before you assume everything will be ok. This happened to me. I assumed it would heal. I was WRONG. It was a 3rd degree burn and I had to get 3 reconstructive plastic surgeries, including a skin graft, in order to repair the damage that was done. I now have a 6 inch long scar across the top of my head - permanent cowlick. I understand maybe not all cases will be this extreme...but prepare for the worst and hope for the best. Oh, and above all else - go to a doctor to have it checked out. And, if it is determined to be serious...get a lawyer so you will get your medical expenses covered by the salon... if it gets to that point you won't be caring about the $$$...you'll just be caring about your health and medical bills being covered. TRUST ME.
I hope you called a lawyer before coming online to post about it.

OMG! You shouild sue the company!!!!!1
Were the foils actually hot or was it the chemicals they were using that burnt your scalp? This happened to me once when I got my hair straightened. They left the treatment on for too long and I ended up with a very sore scalp and red burn marks on the top of my forehead. Needless to say I didn't go back there again.
