Quick advice for anyone overweight: Your body typically requires somewhere around 2,500 calories on average to maintain your current weight. For every 2,500 calories you eat in excess of this amount, you'll gain a pound and for every 2,500 deficit you'll lose a pound. Now, there are two things you can do to affect this: 1) You can increase the amount of calories your body needs to operate by exercising. Meaning, your body will need, say, 1,000 more calories because you rode a bike for an hour and did a bunch of other stuff you wouldn't otherwise do in a given day. That way, if you eat the same amount you normally would, you'll lose weight. 2) You can decrease the amount of calories you intake. So, eat 2,000 instead of 2,500. Either way, you'll lose weight. It's science. Eat fewer calories than you need, you'll lose weight. No special pills or equipment or anything else. Just PAY ******* ATTENTION to what you're SHOVING INTO YOUR MOUTH. I was slightly overweight and lost 40 pounds this way. A friend of mine lost 170. It works, and all it takes is a little arithmetic. And the ability to fight off your hunger.

This isn't a FML. People need to stop caring so much about numbers and sizes and just care about if they feel comfortable in there own skin or not be that a size 14 or a small. The OP prob isn't even fat but is obsessing over a number and feels that if she can't fit in that size instantly it means they were fat. Stop drinking soda, eat smaller healthier meals 5-6 times a day and get your tush moving and you'll drop that little extra your carrying.
