You know what? I have the same problem! And, it's not because I have a little extra weight. I'm almost 7' tall. My knees hit the chair in front of me 99% of the time in Movie Theaters, since there is no room. I've given up on going to all but 1 of the Movie Theaters near me, that's how bad it is.
Well, speaking as someone who was over 300 pounds about four years ago (and have been overweight most of my life), lost most of it, and kept it off these past years... I have two things to say. 1. People with low self-esteem love picking on the fat. Ignore them in every way possible. 2. Really, I lost it just by concentrating on eating as healthy as I could, walking when I could, and coming to trust and accept myself. Being a normal weight is not a magic cure-all (as some people think it is) but it takes you out of the radar range of stupid jerks who get off on putting others down.
Wow that's just... Ok eat healthy and excersize!
i am shocked and disgusted by how many negative comments there are here. insulting someone is not going to help. try encouraging and being positive for once. that said...good luck op on becoming healthy.
Maybe you should have gone to the gym instead?
Even if OP has a medical issue, I still couldn't say FYL. Why? Because even people with medical issues can exercise, and only laziness would cause you to gain so much weight that you can't fit in a chair.
My mom has a thiroid disorder thar makes it extremely hard to loose weight. She rode on a bicycle 450km over 3 days ad didn't loose anything. Ttue story
My mom was 80 lbs overweight bc she had kidney disease and needed dialysis. She didn't lose the water weight until she switched the type of dialysis she was on. And she barely ate. Also because of other conditions (cancer, liver disease, and very low blood pressure) she couldn't exercise.

I would say you deserve it, but we don't know the circumstances here. So in the nicest way possible, let this be motivation to lose weight. Do it the healthy way and you can only benefit. Good luck! :)
If I'm honest it's a YDI, although the seats could be small in general...
