Today, I had to leave the movie theater early because I couldn't fit in the chairs. I guess I'll see it when it comes out on DVD. FML

I would say you deserve it, but we don't know the circumstances here. So in the nicest way possible, let this be motivation to lose weight. Do it the healthy way and you can only benefit. Good luck! :)

YDI for wasting money on a movie ticket. Wait til it comes out in DVD. Pay the price of a movie ticket plus snacks and watch it as many times as you want. That's what I do. Besides, why would I pay $15 to take a nap in public? I sleep much better at home.

I have no idea how fat you are, but I do know that the chairs in Canada, and not just in movies, are smaller then normal. But if you had to leave early then it was more then just a tight fit. The chairs in some places in Canada, especially on the rides are the carnival, are tight even for me, but I just take the slight uncomfortableness to sit through and do what I came there for. If you had paid for the movie then why run off? You should've gone to the back and stood, or even go to the very bottom and sit on the floor.

I don't know where you're from in the US but where I live the movie theater seats are average size to small and uncomfortable. I'm 5'9 and around 180, my husband is also 5'9 and around 150. We both occasionally find movie theater seats to be uncomfortable.

I'm curious as to how small these seats are or how big the OP is. I weighed close to 400 at one point and I was able to fit in movie theater seats without too much issue.
