Today, I had to sit my 13-year-old son down and explain to him that I'd noticed that his pajamas feel a little "crispy" when I pick them up to do the laundry, and ask if he could start using tissues when having some "alone time." FML

Well its normal for everyone to do.. But id imagine that just but uncomfortable!

That was mean. You could just was the PJs and stay silent, or tell him that because he's 13 he can start doing chores, like his own laundry. And like another poster said, just put tissues in his room. There was absolutely no need for you to bring it up at all.

Im 13 and I whack. So what? I started when I was twelve. (I couldnt make anything though) Its 100% normal. 16/17 of my friends wank. Kudos to the kid. He's hit puberty! 'cept who wears pajamas still lol

If its his pajamas, then he may be having 'wet dreams.' At his age, that's likely it, and the alone time talk was probably scarring. YDI for not thinking of other possibilities, and making your son feel bad.
