Personally, I think a real FML would be if you and your boyfriend both had the same name. It's not an FML to meet an older person with the same name as you, even if they're the first. I know half my friends who are expecting to name their children after their grandparents or great grand parents. If it was a potentially scarring name, sure, FML, but Somma? No. It's a great name.

Concentration of Alex is ridiculous. There are 16 in my year, out of 120 people - at an all boy's school. Then I know a fair few out of school, plus an Alyx, an Alix, a Lexie and two more female Alexs. And my middle name is Alex too...
