Don't EVER eat there again...you broke the rule #1: Don't F*$# w/ ppl that handle your food
i never tip on take out. if I do tip I have a minimum of $2.00 and that's if all i order is a $3.50 beer other than that I'm at 15-20% unless if I got a hot waitress and she was acting flirty. 59 your comment is too long go write a ******* book
I hope that one dollar that you saved improved your quality of life as much as you apparently thought it would. YDI.
Wow, you're a real cheap ass bitch. I hope they piss in your food next time.
Waiters would definitely be entitled to a tip, while take out really shouldn't warrant as big a tip. But I don't think giving an extra dollar by mistake really warrants changing your mind and crossing it out. #3: You should always tip. Waiters and waitresses get paid very little from the employer. In fact, the minimum wage for servers is around 3 dollars. They make nearly all their money from tips. Not tipping them is basically denying them part of their paycheck.
I agree with 3 actually. But where I live waiters and waitresses get payed decently anyways.
I understand what you did. You just have to be quick on your feet. Be like yeah if not i'll overdraft my account. Most people know how that feels.

What does it matter if she saw you do it or not? She would have seen it crossed out in a little bit anyway. It's a weird thing that you would bother to cross it out and lower it by only a dollar, seeing as how a dollar is relatively insignificant in the grand scheme of things, but it's just weird as opposed to horrible. Plus, it was only take out, people don't normally tip on take out at all so if I were her, I'd feel grateful to have even gotten a couple dollars.
I think what he means is that he wants the waiter to make the night good by providing good service and that they should have to work for a big tip and not just expect it
