Today, I poured my heart out into what had to be my greatest set of lyrics for my band ever, at the same time my teacher was explaining chemical changes to the class. At the end of the lecture he picked up my paper, and set it on fire to demonstrate a chemical change. FML

I am a teacher. Even if a student is not paying attention in class, I would never take their piece of paper away and set it on fire. Tell them to put it away, yes. Confiscate it for the rest of the period, yes. But destroying something of a student's is completely disrespectful. Some might argue that it's disrespectful to do other work during class, and I'd agree. However, the teacher shouldn't have taken that harsh of a measure to discipline him. Being a teacher doesn't give you license to be a bitch.

I doubt he would just pick up a random sheet of paper, but maybe he did it because he though you were doodling or doing homework for another class. Either way, YDI for not paying attention to the task at hand!

He never said it would change music history. He said it was good for a HS band. It's probably not going to make it big. But they could be REEEEEEELY good and he could save them for another band that makes it big u know. O and for all u idiots who are saying they sucked. F U. He didn't post the lyrics so u don't know. He could be a seinor and have been writting songs since like 6th or 7th grade. So yall are idiots. Even if it did suck. I've turned a shitty sing into a AWSOME song. Just by working on it for a little bit. So yes it might suck. But it could turn out good anyways

I wondered if your name had anything to do with their song. People don't seem to get how important music is. I wrote an English paper recently about it. OP, FYL and YDI. I understand that some things only hit at certain times, but you might wanna pay good attention to important classes like these in the future. = /
