135, I first got my period ten years ago. I am able to push the tampon out using my vaginal muscles, if I really wanted to. Once you put the tampon in, your muscles will hold it there. However, if you push hard enough (even, for example, if you're pushing out a huge crap) the tampon may come out. I've had that happen before, and yes it was inserted properly.

I have a hard time believing how narrow-minded and helplessly mean FML comment posters can be. She might very well be a young virgin around 14-15. At that age, I couldn't even picture getting a tampon inside, so two fingers + a finger at once? Young ladies are tight and tensed, it's perfectly possible to freak out and feel unable to take it out! Even if she probably could have done it with her ****** muscles, I don't see the point in insulting her for not pulling it out with her fingers or saying wild things like "it must be because you don't like touching your own fluids or something, anyways YDI you douche". Come on people. Stop behaving like perfect jerks. Anyway bad luck with that tampon, OP! Buy another brand next time.

The idea of shoving something foreign inside yourself can be scary enough without giving a tug and having nothing but the string come out. Quit the YDI's and be grateful YOU didn't have to show up at the ER and tell them your vag ate a tampon.
