Today, I read an incoming message on my wife's phone. "I miss your warm hands and mouth". The message came from a female co-worker of hers. FML

Today, I got a text from a number I didn’t recognize that said, "I miss you." Assuming it was my mom and her new phone, I replied, "Miss you too, love you!" Turns out it was my new boss, checking to see if I’d be able to work an extra shift. Even though it was her text that was badly worded, I'm now known as the person who declared her love to the boss. FML

first of all, that is beyond repulsive. . . second of all just weird. . . third (and i hope correct) the text message was sent to the wrong person. i mean i get texts from my friend bubba all the time asking me if i would like to go to the gym with him, although they are meant for his guy friend peyton so our names are next to each others in his telephone.

I'm laughing at all the people saying "Why were you checking her messages?" or "You deserve it for checking your wife's private messages!". Don't be stupid. They are M-A-R-R-I-E-D. AKA supposed to be loyal partners for life. Why should it matter??? Obviously he was justified in checking if he found something like this.

I'm at a loss as to why nobody is commenting on the almost (forgive me if I'm wrong) obvious fact that this number in his wifes phone has been saved as this female co-workers number when it so clearly the number of the man she is having an affair with? Is that not what cheaters do? Again, forgive me if I'm wrong, and I probably am, but I'm surprised this hasn't been a running theme in these comments!

An easy way for him to find out for sure would be to call the number in his wife's phone and see if a man or women answers. Isn't a fullproof plan but it is a start.
