Depending on the class it could be bad. Generally the professor has a lesson plan and he doesn't want someone complete assignments on stuff they may not have covered yet and may have missed something before the professor could clarify what he expected for the assignment or he might change something on the assignment last min.

Aw, OP. If I were you, I'd continue until the semester was over for you. Take your finals by the time midterms come about. That'll show that teacher and your class. **** them

this is stupid, ,maybe he/she should not post all assignments. but I seem to find that this works for me, I like getting ahead a little, just in case something happens, so I don't fall behind
