Today, I returned home to find that my boyfriend's dog had gotten into the garbage and ripped all my used pads to shreds. There's a trail of Always tatters leading to his dog bed, and blood everywhere. My blood. Oh God. FML

I get it. when the dog does something wrong it's HIS dog. not your fault for leaving something with blood on it where the animal could get it... YDI

No, it's HIS dog because HE had the dog for 5 years before we met. This isn't the first time there have been used pads in the house. Just the first time that the dog thought they smelled like a tasty treat.

Thank you dynky. Are these menstrual cups uncommon or am I just an idiot? I am nineteen and obviously have experienced the horrid menstrual cycle many time lol, but this is the first I've heard of it. Maybe it's because I'm from Oklahoma.. :| Here come the redneck jokes..

I'm in england and here you can buy them in some stores, although they're not as commonly used as tampons or pads. You could order yourself one online if you wanted.

You can get them at health food stores usually. The most popular brand in North America is called the Diva Cup, I think. Make sure it is silicone, not latex

Gross! What I don't get though is how the dog got to them? You use the pad, you throw tgem in a trashbag, and once a day you empty the trashbag in the outside garbage, how does the dog reach that?

Give the dog a pad on the back for a job well done

ydi for getting a dog and not killing it.

I had comment because you put "bathroom trash." That's exactly what my dog does. So, I never put my pads in there anyways. But.. what IS the obsession with bathroom trash?? :D Silly, doggy.
