Today, I saw an attractive, thin woman eating a salad. Trying to be smooth, I approached her and told her that she didn't need to eat so scarcely, because she was beautiful. She promptly gave me a dirty look and informed me that she was a vegetarian. FML

then you should've told her to more protein & carbs. somebody started a stupid girls have to be skinny thing at our children's school so now my daughter wanted to diet, she is going to turn 7 & 5t pants fall of her skinny butt

That's horrible. A lot of media today makes people believe that being super skinny is beautiful. It's sad that children believe that too.

Talking about food as a chat up line is kind of a turn off. She probably doesn't want some stranger telling her what to eat and eyeing her up like she's a piece of meat. As others here have said, stay away from the sensitive subject of diet and weight, that's a great way to shut down not start a conversation.
