Today, I signed up for an online dating service, a couple of days after my divorce. I got my first batch of matches, and number one was a smiling picture of the woman who had just divorced my ass after 20+ years together. Her profile shows she has to have been active there for months. FML

I'm sorry, you deserve a better wife. what you do now: make an account under some random name, with a really hot guy as the profile picture. begin to talk to her, get her really interested. meet up with her on a blind date, when she sees you, smile yell, "gotcha, ****!" and move on. :)

Well when people divorce, it's not just a breakup, first you really think about it, try to talk, and have all the procedures going. Like 67 said ;) Husband chosed to wait until paperwork was done but it can take several months. If the wife concidered they were separated and told the husband about it, it's ok to be looking for someone nez (although using online dating services suck. but i do beleive on meeting people through internet.. but we don't need intermediates)

Do you know what would be funny was if you were both on the dating site and she was pretending to be someone else and you were pretending to be someone else and then you hit it off while pretending to be different people and then she divorced you...for you. HAHA now that would be pretty ******

It might not be a total coincidence, I mean you've got a similar postcode and stuff probably? Or you might share some friends, etc etc. If you're really upset that she's been on there a while maybe you're not as ready to date other people as you thought, you should give it some space. It doesn't matter if she gets with other people, your life isn't tied to hers any more.
