Today, I started my period. I am getting married tomorrow. So, not only am I going to be on my period for my wedding night and honeymoon, my best friend has to help me change my pad because my dress is so big. FML

that's why you go on birth control so that you can use it to safely delay or skip your period. it's part of wedding planning 101.

It likes to come at the worst possible moments. This is going to sound gross but, if you and your new husband want to do the deed, use a female condom. And hey, at least you know your bestfriend is a true friend!

you deserve that so much babe, you're getting married. If you were so freaked out about getting your period on your wedding and honeymoon you SHOULD HAVE chosen a week you weren't close to starting on [if you're old enough to get married, you're old enough to know what week in a month you get your period], or have gone on birth control. That way you could have planned your wedding on a week you would have been off. Sucks for you, but YDI

thats narsty. we did NOOOT have to know that C: and number 1, more then 1/4 women get their period .. about 3/4 do ?!

At least give your girlfriend a break and wear a tampon because personally, I would rather pull down a string than wrap up a soggy pad!

125 - Wow, you have definitely not read any of the comments here, or else you would realise that NOT all women can track their periods to the exact day, especially if they are planning a wedding months and months ahead!

Are people seriously saying to use a tampon? You have to change those, too. Imagine how much more awkward THAT would be... And it's not immature to use pads, it's a preference. I agree with #44!

Gross! A pad!! That's like sticking a pillow down there!

that sucks...if you were on the pill, you'd know when you were to get it and you could just breeze right on thru with another pack and skip it...OR count on a calendar. YDI. totally avoidable
