Today, I stepped on the MacBook Air I purchased 4 days ago. The screen snapped in two, and I didn't buy insurance because I promised myself I would be "extra careful." $3500 well spent. FML

How can you step on your macbook if you are "extra carefull"??? Putting it on the floor, or maybe you did dance on the table?, isn't carefull at all!

You do know that your MacBook Air (and all macs) come with a one year warranty, even if you do not but apple care right (apple care just adds 2 years on after the first and you can buy that the day before the end of the first year)? All you have to do is make an appointment at your nearest apple (you can do it on the apple website) go in and show them it's broken and they will fix it. My cat knocked my macbook off my desk and they didn't even ask me what happened to it. The 'apple genius' told me that basically as long as your mac doesn't get wet it's covered under apple care... BTW Macs Rule

Man, at this point, I don't even need to say that you deserved it for buying a Mac. Nevertheless, you did deserve it for buying a Mac. BTW, Macs suck.

You deserve it for being a blind fool. What did it think it was, a stool?

now you can't trust even yourself.. i like it how windows fanboys just say "Macs Suck" without any proof or argument. uhm windows: crashes and gets viruses. enough said. of course i could keep going hahaha!

Here's some help with that screen. There is a repair option called "Total Repair" or something close to that. Go to your closest Apple Store and ask them about the $330 repair option. They should send the Macbook Air off to the repair shop and you should be able to get it back in 5 to 10 days. I work for Apple. SO this should help you out. But next time, buy the AppleCare. It really does help more then you might think. Even I buy it and I work at Apple.

Thats what you get for wasting your money on a Mac, idiot.

Buy insurance.. Then a few days later tell them you broke it.
