Today, I told my 13 year-old daughter that she was grounded from using her phone. Later on, I get an important call regarding a job that I have been after. After I'd picked up the phone, my daughter starts screaming, "HELP! RAPE! HELP!" on the other phone. I don't think I'll be getting the job. FML

WOW. Since it was so ******* important (HELLO, JOB), you should punish her by making her live off of the bare minimum for at least a month - NO CELL PHONE AT ALL, basic shitty food, no new clothes, etc.

:O Very bad girl! My mom would beat the living crap out of me!! You should go through everything, and write down every text, (and let her know you have copies of them use them against her later), then view and erase every picture, video and music files, then give her back her phone and make sure to tell her it won't be for long since without your job you can't afford to keep such a nice phone for long and then turn the phone off within the week (also, "accidentally" break her charger so she can't use it for pictures or anything) then get her a Trac-Phone from the drugstore, and only 100 minutes a month, which she pays for or doesn't get, and no texting. She gets nothing. Copy everything off the phone and break it, cancel the plan, and go to just bare requirements to live. She deserves to be miserable till 18, where she'll be kicked out.

tell her she wont be getting a phone until she gets a job because you did not get a job because of her stupid ass. i didnt get my phone until i got a job! and plus, its tough luck getting a job nowdays so her actions cause you to not have the money for her phone service.

lol i love how everyone comments on here freaking out like "OMG YOU DIDNT LET HER USE HER PHONE" haha seriously who cares why here phone was taken away or that "everyone needs a phone how dare you take her phone away" the fml was entertaining thats all that should matter.

You have to exercise more control, if it where up to me she'd never see a phone after that until she got a job. Didn't need a phone until I went to college.
