Today, I took my girlfriend out for a fancy dinner to celebrate our anniversary. When the waitress came, we instantly recognized each other. She was the girl I'd had a one night stand with a few weeks before. FML

So, were you sitting with the hotter girl or was she standing in front of you? Keep in mind, one of them will be alone with your food. BTW, it didn't say whether the one-night stand took place before he started dating the current girlfriend. That might move the needle on the disgust-o-meter.

I think Perdix was implying that because some couples celebrate month "anniversaries" it could be extrapolated to weeks, because some people are like that. Also, another post touched upon the subject that the OP could have admitted it to the girlfriend who decided to give him a second chance and that this could've mucked that up as well. However, due to the way it's phrased, it's likely that the OP is just an arse who got caught out cheating on his girlfriend and was looking for some form of reaction by posting the FML (be it sympathy or entertaining with the story etc).
