Today, I took my girlfriend to a public place before confessing that I've been seeing another woman, to avoid a dramatic scene. After being rushed to the hospital with a concussion and broken nose, I think it's safe to say my plan didn't go very well. FML

Too many variables here. Was he cheating or chatting over coffee? What if he knew about her explosive behaviour and tried to leave her not in public dude would be in a body bag! He could have tried to break off before and she refused to believe it. Cheating hurts and it's bad but I've heard ten times worse stories about cheaters being caught in the act. You guys are heartless. Poor girl ugh poor guy! He didn't deserve abuse in any circumstance. People can die! A man died minutes from my work because he got punched in the head! A very young man is dead and another young man is going to jail, does no one ever learn. You have to hit someone with a ton of force to break a nose and cause a concussion. Anything more than a slap deserves a restraining order and counselling if not jail time.

Even tho you were finally honest with her I still say YDI. Cheating is a cowards way out. If you didn't want to be with her you should have been honest about it.

EVEN if she was nicer to him than his current girlfriend then he should have broken up with his now ex girlfriend. Seriously I cant believe there are actually people defending him. He was in the wrong to be cheating on her. people say if a guy hit a girl people would blame him. that may be true however, if a girl would have done what he had done then she would have been labeled as a ***** for the rest of her life.
