Today, I wanted revenge on the rabbit who ate my garden's plants. When he returned, he was standing next to my brand new above-ground swimming pool. I pull out my 22. rifle and shot at it, but the bullet missed and popped a hole in my pool. 15,000 gallons of water flooded my basement. FML

Not only did you try to kill it instead of just relocating it, but you tried to justify your shit aim with 'the bullet missed' instead of 'I missed'. This one calls for a YDI unfortunately.

I wouldn't be surprised if many people were either; I'm also a vegetarian. Still, what I was saying is that I doubt every person who wished him disaster upon him is even enough of a hardcore vegan to justify it--although, frankly, it wouldn't justify their comments, but it would explain it.

People, it's a RABBIT. Sure, killing it due to being angry is horrid, but killing it to get rid of a pest that can cause massive damage isn't. I hope a mod locks the comments because this is ridiculous Also, al. Vegans/Vegetarians: We are OMNIVORES. Those canines are there for a reason. You can go on not eating meat, but don't berate the guy for shooting an EXTREMELY COMMON PEST! And, btw, my family has a pet rabbit, so no, I am not being an ass. The rabbit wrecked his garden. It is a pest OP: YDI for shooting in the direction of the pool. If you have other things that could be wrecked by shooting, try planting some plants that repel rabbits. Less property damage that way

#445- Again, the diet of the people commenting is ENTIRELY irrelevant, as the OP was not killing for food or survival, but out of "revenge". If the man was starving and needed to kill the rabbit to eat, people would not be reacting in the same manner.

#452: I think it's kinda ignorant to say that he put his house in the rabbit's territory. He didn't choose to put it there, because he didn't BUILD it. He simply bought it, and might have not expected rabbits to hang around.
