Even my poop can lift the barbell
I say that's completely your fault for spending your entire life being such a wuss that you can't even lift a weight that should be a fraction of a single push-up.
@ #125. Because they're losers who have no lives, and they try to act tough over the internet.
Don't worry about it. Have a spot next time.
Tons of people here are talking about how easy it is to lift the bar. However, he was using a free weight bar which is much harder to lift than a bar on a Smith machine, which is virtually weightless. So all the little sisters are probably lifting a empty bar on a Smith machine. For the OP just work on your core as well as your pecks and you will be strong and able to balance the bar well.
Not being able to lift 45 pounds does not mean a person is lazy. If someone is that lacking in physical strength naturally, exercising around other people is likely to be so discouraging that it's pretty hard to make oneself start doing it. I'm an an adult, and when I tried bench pressing with a machine, the max I could handle was about 42-43 pounds. Granted, I'm 5'0" and 113 pounds, but some people just lack muscle strength through no fault of their own.
i personally work out. I've seen many first timer little kids/girls lift the 45 lbs. 1. I don't believe it happened. 2. you didn't try hard enough (yes, I'm blaming it on your mentality) 3. the weight surprised you. the real fml here is that you have a whole ocmmunity of ppl calling you weak.

you dont deserve that bc it is my assumption that 98% of the population can lift a 45 lb barbell. 7-12 yr olds included. Spotter next time homeboy. Always when trying new exercises and eat that protein mix after workouts. Sounds like you need to gain some weight and muscle
Don't be so pathetic next time.
