45 pounds? your kidding right. i would go home and cry. literally a 8 year old can lift that
I feel you. I couldn't lift it for softball back when I was in HS. At least I had a spotter though.
The bar it self ranges from 35 to 45 lbs I can lift it and more and I'm an 110lbs female LOL
Ok, first of all, all you people that say she (i hope) failed b/c a little kid could lift the bar, I bet none of you have ever tried to bench press anything! I was a competitive swimmer for 12 years and could only ever bench press the bar, bench pressing is harder than just picking up a weight! 2nd, you should have had a spotter so YDI!
Truthfully it isn't really that hard with a little effort even if you are twelve
12 years? damn, i thought swimming made your arms stronger. ive only been *ALIVE* for 14 years and I can bench 115.
WTF that means you are over 20 and can only do bar! I can do 115 and I'm one of the weakest kids on my team.
i agree with most people. that's just pathetic. FYL
That's just sad....
LOL

you dont deserve that bc it is my assumption that 98% of the population can lift a 45 lb barbell. 7-12 yr olds included. Spotter next time homeboy. Always when trying new exercises and eat that protein mix after workouts. Sounds like you need to gain some weight and muscle
Don't be so pathetic next time.
