I study medicine myself and this is quite a big issue because 70% of the first year studentes are female and a really low percentage of this really becomes a doctor.
You don't want a gynecologist who has a hobby. You don't want one who's a doctor and a magician. "What's this? Oooh a dove! Hey, what have we here? Is this your card?"
