Today, I was babysitting a 4 year-old with a speech impediment. I asked her, "Do you got your bag?" And she said, "No. I have my bag. Babies say got. I'm a big girl." I am 20 years old and in the honors program in my college. I was corrected by a 4 year-old with a speech impediment. FML

I would just like to say that you called OP a 'freaking moron', and you're using text speech like 'wut'. That will be all.

Don't speak like some kind of Neanderthal, then. And comment #1 is hilarious.

I have a speech impediment and I take offense to this. I know you didn't mean it cruelly, but just because someone has a speech impediment doesn't make them any less intelligent. In fact, the only thing it does is cause some trouble with particular letters when speaking, it doesn't make you an idiot. Please be aware next time you want to assume someone is stupid for no reason.

Having a speech impediment has nothing to do with grasping basic concepts of grammar.

"Today, I was overly sensitive and got really upset at a minor grammar mistake. FML"

Well said #44. Using "got" is just plain awful.

I put "I agree, your life is f***ed" simply because you can't speak so therefore your life is f**ked. I don't feel sorry for you though...learn to speak.

#42...for real? Don't call other people morons when you didn't spell; capitalize; or use commas, adverbs, question marks, and periods correctly in your comment. And #47? Really? You criticize "got" but use "plain awful"? I hope that was meant to be ironic.

21 im guessing there wasn't a verbal interview with an admissions staff... "so what kind of classes do you got here?" "we got the maths and the englishes" "i don't got a high school transcript" "don't worry, we got all kinds of students"

Unless your honors program requires you to take an exhaustive written, oral, and physical(?) examination on grammar, I don't see the problem. And I will venture that this little gal recently learned grammar. It is like when I chastised my father as a young one for not knowing what I JUST learned that day in chemistry class. It is absolutely meaningless.
