Today, I was babysitting a 4 year-old with a speech impediment. I asked her, "Do you got your bag?" And she said, "No. I have my bag. Babies say got. I'm a big girl." I am 20 years old and in the honors program in my college. I was corrected by a 4 year-old with a speech impediment. FML

Oh, and seriously.. I'm failing 9th grade English and I knew that you should never say, "Do you got your bag?"

Well maybe you should try setting a good example for the child you're babysitting and speak correctly, especially if you have the ability to know when you're speaking incorrectly - i.e. your honours program remark. And good for that little girl for being so smart, and for correcting you! You could learn a thing or two from her. And next time, you could ask, "Have you got your bag?" That's actually correct, and you get to use the word "got". ;)

a speech impediment should have nothing to do with the kid's grammar skills. Double "you deserved it."

wow your life must be ruined now eh

if you say "do you got your bag?" you dont deserve to be in an honors program, or in college. Really, people in kindergarten know better. and if your said it because she had a speech impediment, then i agree with #13 and #55

"Do you got your bag?" Seriously? You! Out of the honors program. Now!

YDI for grammar fail. Haven't you learned anything from the grammar Nazis on FML?

Uh, being in the honors program doesn't mean you're good at grammar. And having a speech impediment doesn't determine anything. I'd rather say FYL for being so stupid.
