Today, I was fired from my catering job for pointing out the unsafe food conditions. I'm studying food safety in college. FML

Sic whatever government organization is in charge of this on their sorry asses.

Look on the bright side. If you get a job at the FDA you can close down that shitty company...

Time to call up the local health and safety department. You'd also probably get to sue them for wrongful termination.

i would contact osha.. if you mentioned the unsafe conditions.. you can contact them.. and they will help you with that problem.. it will take time.. but will be worth it in the end.. If you hadn't already known before.. contact osha first! before telling your boss.. that way you have documentation of it.. good luck jas (by the way.. this information is on the minimum wage chart that every business is required to have.._

Guess what? This is lawsuit worthy. They cannot fire you for pointing out illegal acts. This is your chance: SUE THEM FOR EVERYTHING THEY HAVE!

Isn't that just the typical world today: you get screwed because you're doing the right thing.

Yep. You definately need to go to the environmental health authority. They screw you unfairly...the least you can do is screw them fairly. =]

This is CLEARLY illegal. This is only an FML if you do nothing and whine about it, because you hold all the power.

Three letters F. D. A. or your local health inspector

sounds like wen I did placement in an aged care facility for my nursing course. I told one of the carers that a resident had an irregular heartbeat in strength and rate. she then dispised all of us students. however the owner of the place (who is a registered nurse), was extremely unimpressed.
