Today, I was making out with my boyfriend and he was fingering me. After he left, my mum says to me "I wish my sex life was as interesting as yours." She had walked in and we hadn't even noticed. FML

Heavy petting in the kitchen while the whole family is home is bound to result in a sticky situation.

That's awful...least she didn't care lol at you OP

Hey, come on. Everyone knows that if there's grass on the wicket, let's play cricket!

teach your mother to knock and wait for an answer before she enters your private sphere. a dartboard inside the door might help.

If it's her house then the OP doesn't really have a private sphere, her mother can go where she pleases in her own house. Not to mention the fact that the door was obviously not locked so they completely deserve it.

You're saying moms are just free to enter whenever they like without knocking, and that OP isn't entitled to any privacy? What the hell are you talking about?

The only privacy your entitled to in YOUR PARENTS HOUSE is to bathe and take a shit, because those are necessities. It's their house, not yours. Any other privacy you get is a privilege, not a right- even your damn room, because you aren't paying for it. Off the topic or spoiled un-appreciative children, The OP more than likely was somewhere open in the house, in other words, not in her bedroom. Otherwise it would have been pretty hard not to spot someone walking in and out or past the doorway.

People deserve privacy whether they're paying for a room or not. They're ******* kids, you expect them to pay rent? OP is probably 13-14 by her name, you expect her to make millions of selling lemonade? (that's what you Americans normally do at that age right?) What the hell does spoiled or un-appreciative have to do with it either? Privilege.. you talk like it's the army and not a family.

Exactly, they're kids not thinking and not earning money, both of which disqualify them from privacy. Privilege means they have to SHOW they deserve to be trusted with privacy, in case you neglected your schooling and don't know what it means or why it would be relevant.
