Today, I went on a date that went well, until the bill came and she quickly shoved it in my direction, then went to the loo. Rude, but I thought nothing of it… until our waiter took pity and told me I’m the fourth guy she’s had this week who'd been made to pay for her. I paid half, then went home. FML

Anyone with an ounce of spanners knows that when you're on a date you put your phone on silent (or just shut it off, you can do that you know) and you put it away and forget about it. You never take your phone out on a date, that is beyond rude. You most certainly deserved what you got.

You guess you were on the phone too much? I bet he guessed you two were on a date. He guessed you wanted to spend some time together with him and maybe you liked him . I guess he guessed wrong. Honestly, unless it's an emergency or you're sharing something, there's no reason to be on your phone when on a date. If you like this dude, try having a little respect for him.
