For all we know OP could be a responsible drinker. Or maybe he's an alcoholic. If he's not, **** his life for the people at the liquor store to assume he'll drink them dry. If he is a drunk, makes sense not hiring him.
Just get a new liquor store that's no way to treat a regular!! Or buy a bar I honestly prefer buying a bar
For me, it all depends on just how regular a customer OP is. A bottle of wine or sixpack of beer a week? Hire the man already. A bottle of Jack a day? They are probably right not to hire him.
You and your friends and family should stop shopping there so they don't get any profit from you
I guess it depends on how much you are buying. If you are constantly buying an insane amount of liquor, they shouldn't hire you. Who would want to hire an known alcoholic?
Reminds me of that Family Guy episode.
Never get a job at any place you're a regular at! They know all about your habits!

Wouldn't you having experience shopping there and liking the products make you more useful as a salesperson? That wasn't a very wise choice on their part.
Did you apply for the chance of employee discounts?
