Perhaps you could recommend them for a test to see if they have terminal stupidity
Not necessarily, it really depends on what type of clinic you work at and what you do. My sister in law works at an OBGYN office, and I forget exactly what she does, but all I know is that she's not the one that directly sees the patients. I think she does more office type work and deals with all of the paperwork if I'm not mistaken. She's required to wear scrubs at work like everyone else, and she wears them everywhere she goes after work until she gets home. This includes picking up her kids from school, grocery shopping, going to the bank, or any other place she has to go to after work.
as a nurse, I understand
I work in a vet clinic. I was in reception that day because a coworker called in sick. So no germs were spread.
SHE IS A VETERINARY WORKER SO BE LENIENT YOU ASS FOR BACKS
you should have said loudly what they were, that would have made them feel like a dumbass. fyl
So it seems, some people are idiots…

Innocent question to the community and OP: do scrubs harbour bacteria? Is it unhygienic to wear clothes that have ben exposed to a hospital environment in a grocery store? Thanks.
Some people are too quick to judge. FYL.
