Today, I was watching the movie Frozen with my 8 year old daughter. I had seen it before, so I sung along with some of the songs. My daughter put a finger over my lips, said "Shhhhhhhhut the fuck up," then turned back to the TV, giggling. FML

"Who sings that?" "The girl from Frozen!" "Yeahhh, let's keep it that way."

I'm a cashier and saw a kid about 9 or 10 tell his dad "**** you" when he wouldn't give him a quarter for the quarter machine then stormed off...the sad part is, he got his quarter eventually. Don't be that type of parent OP, please

I know it's wrong to laugh at a child cursing, but that was pretty funny. I wanted to laugh when my daughter called someone a queefing cockmaster. I definitely didn't laugh in front of her, but damn her for being so clever lol

I literally just lol'd for two minutes straight

..she sounds like a very promising child.

I hope you turned that movie off right away and grounded her.

I don't think she knew how much of an impact that phrase has for kids her age, considering she started giggling. She probably just thought saying that would make you stop. Maybe you should ban her from watching movies until she gets some punishment and a lesson about respect.

I'm pretty sure she definitely knew it was wrong to say and that's why she giggled. 8 is plenty old enough to know that word is wrong, they usually hear it for the first time around 5-6 yrs old at school, sometimes even younger unfortunately.

What kind of terrible school did you go to that had kindergarteners swearing? At my school people didn't start using that language until at least middle school.

I would wear my kids ass out!!

That sounds like rape. Care to rephrase?

I wonder where she heard that one... Let it go

And from where do you suppose she picked the phrase up?

At school, at a playground, older siblings, friends, tv, movies, the radio, etc.

I hate it so much when people start singing along to songs in movies, they're like ruining the entire song -_- and the ones who sing along so others can hear... Ugh they won't accept that a professional was singing that song and that no one wants to ******* hear anybody else other than the professional -_- (my life in choir class when we watch a musical) so YDI because you were ruining the experience for your daughter
