I go to a liberal all girls school and they do get pissed sometimes (depends on who) if they catch a guy on campus during school hours. We're not Catholic and we're not even considered strict. Although, no one would call the police at my school if there was a guy on campus, I can see how that could happen at a Catholic all girls school. Anyway, I feel bad for you. That sucks.

I mean yeah, you guys are obviously going to go together but it's prom! maybe next year or the year before you didn't/won't have a date and/or didn't/won't have the chance to do something big and ask. So, why not, right? Well that's the way I see it. I asked my then-boyfriend to the Sadie Hawkins dance in a huge way even though we already made plans on going and everything. So I guess some people think it's stupid and other don't.

I just recently read an article about a 17-year-old guy attending a private Catholic school who was suspended from the school because he went to the prom of the public highschool that his girlfriend attends. Apparently his school had rules that do not allow students to go to prom, listen to rock music and a bunch of other things...who knows what kind of crazy rules the school of OPs girlfriend may have :D

there is absolutly NOTHING wrong with being religious. its actually pretty good to be religious. Im the only in my family who is religious - meaning i go to church and attend to a catholic school and particpate in catholic activties (example : fighting for abortion to be illegal) im not SUPER religious. People who are super religious annoy me.
