Today, I went to see a play. I'm pregnant, so I always need to pee. At intermission, I ran to use the bathroom, but there was a really long line. I asked the woman in front of me if I could pass her. She responded, "You don't look pregnant!", and lectured me about lying while I peed my pants. FML

By your interpretation the disability than is the fact that she wet herself not the pregnancy itself. Which from my perspective was simply an accident that could have been avoided by planning ahead a bit and leaving the play before intermission to use the bathroom or by wearing some sort of sanitary pad to absorb any accidents that did happen.

What boatkicker said is an interpretation. What I said is an opinion. Pregnancy is a naturally occurring condition. Sure there are pregnancy related illnesses which I'd be more apt to describing as short term disabilities but pregnancy itself is not.

She wasn't being refused toilet access. She was being asked to wait her turn.

Asked? More like demanded. & OP did NOT deserve the bitching & BS she got, no matter what. No-one deserves to be made so uncomfortable, they shit themselves. So why is it any different in this situation? I have to agree with everyone else, you don't seem to practice what you preach, and if it was you in OP's situation, then I think you'd see things quite differently. xx

If what I said is an interpretation, will you please explain to me how being kicked in the bladder doesn't put you at a disadvantage, for holding urine? The first part of what I said is an interpretation, yes. But the second part isn't so much.

Pregnancy can easily be the occurance of a freak accident P

Anyone think that maybe the OP didn't go to the restroom during the performance and waited till intermission because she was trying to be POLITE and not disturb people watching the play by getting up, blocking their view, making them move to let her out, etc? FYL, OP, that lady shouldn't have lectured you, and unless she had a real issue too, she ought to have let you go ahead. Would have been the polite, civilized thing to do.

Yur way better than me cus I would have push her and ran in.

The woman in front had time to lecture the OP so couldn't have needed the toilet that bad.

Do not talk to me like that. And no I never said that they shouldn't go anywhere for nine months, all I'm saying is for a place where you know where you are going to be for a long time. My one friend is a dancer and some of her plays are around 2.5 hours which would be pretty miserable for a pregnant lady.

Uhm no. When I said one friend, I meant one of my friend's. I thought that it was preatty obvious, but I guess to some idiots it is not. I'm sorry, I didn't realize you're slow.
