Today, in an attempt to get my son to stop playing Call of Duty, I threw his Xbox controller out the window. He was so desperate, he followed it. His bedroom is on the second floor. My son has 3 broken ribs, and no future. FML

...WOW. That's some serious addiction right there. That boy needs therapy. Seriously though OP, you don't need to go that far. You can RROD an XBox 360 just by looking at it the wrong way. I should know -- I own one. -_-

My dad doesn't know I have an xbox. He'd do the same thing hahaha. So I only play when he goes away on business trips which is regular enough anyway.

never, ever take a controller from a boy playing cod he (besides following the controller) will lose little respect for you too

lol inafter tons of comments of 12 year olds pretending to know something about parenting and trying to teach this guy how to raise his son, assuming he even reads these comments, OMG YER TEH PARENT ITS YER FAULT BRO U BOUGHT IT FOR HIM, ******* people on the internet these days.

Your son has no future? because he plays call of duty? I have and IQ of over 140 and I would play call of duty all day every day. and Xbox controllers are around $50. what a good way to waste money.

Firstly, IQ doesn't mean shit. Secondly, did you completely ignore the jumping out of the window part?

COD is fun, but nothing wrong with throwing a controller out the window... assuming you knew you wouldn't hit anyone. And if my son jumped out a window after a controller, I'd say he had no future too. Honestly, how dumb can someone get? Hopefully the father, after the trip to the hospital, decided to take more interest in the kid and his schooling... also teach him things everyone should know like what goes up must come down and you can use the stairs to go get it. As for "addiction", that is BS, whether it is a game or a slot machine. Simply change your thinking toward the game and the "addiction" is gone, no withdrawal symptoms. If you have an uncontrollable need to play a game, time to see a shrink... you are either insane or stupid. The most a sane person should feel is bored when not playing a game (s)he likes. That said, I'm going to go play WoW for a bit ^_^
